They kill because they are frustrated and they can't really unleash it anywhere. How would you feel like if you where ripped out of your mothers arms when you where a child and sent to somewhere just so you could entertain some stupid humans and live the rest of your life in one tiny room. It is not the orcas fault. The fault is humans. And of course as you said, the sea worlds fault. It's not a sea world it's a pool world.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4705213620415778041.post-6454844167751844462013-11-13T11:55:49.567-05:002013-11-13T11:55:49.567-05:00I totally agree, there is risk in working with Kil...I totally agree, there is risk in working with Killer Whales and I'm sure these workers accept the risk. When I was a teenager, I was lucky enough to volunteer myself to be a part of the show. Yes, that meant I had to jump into the water (fully clothed mind you) and swim to the center of the tank. Seconds later the Orca hurtled over me and then it came around and gently surfaced and I rode on its back as it passed around the crowed before dropping me of at the platform. I was then applauded and escorted to the stage exit, but not before I recieved a "goodie bag" for being a part of the show. I've got to admit, it was a bit scary, but it was a rush too... <br />I also got to jump in with the dolphines a year later. It's too bad they don't do that anymore for liability reasons, but I'm glad to have gotten the chance to experience something in life that will never come again.Diane Vierranoreply@blogger.com
